Default Just For Today Day 23 Putting Off

Just For Today Day 23 Putting Off by SGLY Ministry

Just for Today I will put off all…YESTERDAYS
Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing… Isaiah 43:18,19 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought:
The definition of Yesterday is :
“on the day preceding this day”
or “a short time ago”.
Often we put too much focus on Yesterday, which is gone, never to return, and in doing so we miss out on Today, which is a gift of life from the Lord.
So, Today, let’s just focus on Today, and say: This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 (NKJV)

Today’s Prayer:
Just for Today Lord, with Your help, I will forget yesterday and concentrate on today.
Yesterday is gone, it cannot be changed, all that can be done with it is to learn from it and move on, so please help me to learn from it and then put off dwelling on it, for I want to concentrate on the new things You are doing in my life.
You have given me Today to live for You , so please help me to make every minute of this day count for You, Lord.
I do not want to waste any time dwelling on former things, I just want to focus on Today. Thank You Lord. Amen.
