Default Moving Through Grief

Moving Through Grief

Thought for the Day

"We all grieve losses: a love or marriage, a job, a family member, or a part of ourselves... Grieving is a process that runs from denial, to anger, to sadness, and finally to acceptance. Allow God to work with you through the process so you may pass through all the stages successfully and come out the other side whole again."

Today's Word

"When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven." (Nehemiah 1:4 NIV)

Today's Prayer

Thank You, Father, for being with me as I pass through the stages of grief. While loss may be hard to understand and sometimes seem to happen for no reason, knowing You are with me helps sooth the pain of a broken heart. Amen
