All God’s Creatures

God bless all creatures large and small.

I pray every day for my friends and family, but today I include an important and diverse group of God’s creatures.

Animals are a special blessing whether as beloved companions or majestic wild creatures. I give thanks for the divine wisdom that created them and for the wonder of their diversity.

I’m grateful for my pets. They greet me each day with unconditional love and bless me with their joy. As extended members of my family, they bring love into my life, and I give thanks for the opportunity to be their steward on earth.

Large or small, domestic or wild, I bless all God’s creatures in my prayers.
God made the wild animals of the earth of every kind, and the cattle of every kind, and everything that creeps upon the ground of every kind. And God saw that it was good.—Genesis 1:25
