Why Worry?
 

WHY WORRY

Being overwhelmed with worry does so much damage to our minds and bodies. Why be overwhelmed wondering about something that has not even happened when all we have to do is pray? Prayer can replace worry. Our faith in God can move mountains. Let’s stop worrying right now and pray with strong faith that God will take care of our overwhelm with worry and He will solve our problems.

Philippians 4:6 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, why do we worry? Why do we dwell on things that haven’t even happened wondering what we are going to do? Why do we wonder about what others are doing and if they are safe or making the right decisions? When all we need to do is pray and trust in You. You can handle it. You can handle anything. Remind us today not to worry about anything but pray about everything as You have told us to do. And thank You for all You do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we release our problems and give them to God, we no longer have to worry.

God wants us to be free from worry. We should have faith and trust in Him to handle things.

When we focus on all that God has done and thank Him, our worries will disappear.

Faith in God helps us not to worry but to pray.

We can defeat the world if we would stop worrying and have faith.

1 John 5:4-5 “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.” (NLT)

Focus: Focusing on God and having faith in Him will help us stop worrying and begin living as He has called us to live.
