Broken Spirits
 

All of us in recovery have been crushed in one way or another. All of us are here for a reason, we're all broken spirits though none of us really know this when we all start off in recovery. Something has brought us all together and we all need each other more than we know, but there is a part in all of us that does know and that part is the damaged spirit that we all have. It is because of what has happened to all of us in the many different ways that this happens, that brings us all together in recovery and what this did to us is the same for all of us. That's why recovery works because it can heal what's wrong with us. Come join us in recovery and become one of those who have found a way through recovery of being able to do this, make our spirit as it was before through no fault of our own we all had this taken from us. Recovery can do this for anyone who will let it, but it's up to us if we want to go through with doing it, but make no mistake about understanding this: that recovery can and will heal our broken spirits.
